Description: Computer Field Service Technician will travel to various locations throughout Westchester County and occasionally NYC, CT and NJ to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.

Skills Required: PC skills (all Microsoft OSes) including the ability to load software, configure or use various hardware, and follow technical instructions. Experience installing and supporting hardware, troubleshooting dial-up issues and network connectivity.

The candidate must be proficient in the use of hand tools and have a good understanding of basic electricity and electronics. Must be enthusiastic, eager to learn and have excellent customer relations skills.

Must have a valid drivers license, car and be bondable.

Skills Preferred: A+ certification, MSCE, mild programming experience, Mac (pre- and post-OS X), Unix/Linux, Cisco.

Education: Technical school or a manufacturer’s training course would be helpful.

Location: Various installation sites throughout Westchester County and occasionally NYC, CT and NJ.

Scheduled Hours: This is an on-call position. Travel to/from clients should be expected, and some overtime may be required.

Travel: Local travel throughout the area. Must have a reliable car available.
