Daylight Saving Time 2007 (DST2007)
In 2005, a change to Daylight Saving Time was passed to make the start date three weeks earlier (March 11 instead of April 1) and make the end date one wee later (November 4 instead of October 28). This change affects computers, celular and digital phones, consumer devices like VCRs, etc.
Microsoft is only supporting Windows XP service pack 2 (SP2) and later. If you've been getting updates from Microsoft, chances are you are updated. If not, or if you have an older operating system, you can apply a free patch from intelliadmin:
We suggest:
- Apply the patch (if you already have the Microsoft patch, don't worry -- they can happily co-exist, and it doesn't hurt to apply the intelliadmin patch)
- Reboot your machine
- Change the date and time (or even better, install an atomic timesync client like the free one from AnalogX: http://www.analogx.com/CONTENTS/download/network/ats.htm -- just make sure to click the button that says ''enabled'' so it can change your system time automatically, and change the 'seconds to check' to 86400, which is once per every 24 hours.)
If you have questions, feel free to give us a call to discuss or setup an appointment.
